dWinlock Version 3.3
(c) 2002-2011 Kassl GmbH (http://www.kassl.de)

dWinlock is an easy to use toolkit for software developers
to limit the access to Windows (98, ME, NT, 2000, XP, Vista and Windows 7).
This can be achieved by disabling a variety of key combinations
(such as Ctrl+Alt+Del) and by hiding and replacing elements
of the Windows desktop.

The dWinlock API can be used in Delphi, C/C++, .Net, Visual Basic, and any other
development environment that allows you to call functions in third party DLLs.
If your environment lets you call Win32 API functions then you can also use
dWinlock API in your projects.

Use our web site http://www.dwinlock.kassl.de
to order dWinlock or download latest version.

Installation:
=============
+ First uninstall a older dWinlock version before installing this version.
+ Please copy the file dwlgina3.dll to Windows/System32 folder.

Only for Windows NT, 2K, 2003:
If this is not possible, because dwlgina3.dll already exists,
then you have to uninstall dwlgina3.dll first.
You can do this for example with our dWinlockdemo program.
(Menu item <Options> button <Uninstall Dwl>)

Known Problems:
===============

+ Problems with noTasklinks
If you set noTasklinks to false and minimize the Quick Launch
in Taskbar you get a additional Quick Launch overflow arrow (>>)
Then it's possible to start programs via menu.

  Workaround:
You can hide quick launch under control panel of the Taskbar.
The fastest way to display this panel is clicking the right mouse button on the taskbar.

+ The replacing of startmenu only works correct if the Option "Taskbar fixed" is set.

+ hiding of start button is not possible under windows 7

+ disabling CTRL-ALT-DEL not supported under Windows 64-bit systems

+ can't open helpfile dwlreference.chm

since the release of Windows XP Service Pack 2,
a new security feature was enabled with
respect to the download of compiled help files (*.chm).
To get them to work, you must first locate the
files in Windows Explorer and right click on
each one selecting Properties. Towards the bottom
right corner of the Properties dialog is a button
named Unblock. Select this button and then select
Apply and OK. The chm help file will
  now open and work fine.
